I was supposed to photograph the Reid family at Mac Park this morning, but it was very windy and raining hard in Smithfield. It was barely raining in Logan so we decided to move the session to Stewarts Nature Park close to my home. I love photographing the Reids. They tell me I am practically family now and it makes me smile.

We started in the main area just off of the bridge. I wish the trees had more fall colors, but they were still beautiful.

We then moved to a fence that is rearby. Look at the beautiful red in the trees. I love using the fence as a prop as well.

We also took what I like to call “getto” shots. These are shots taken in a not so pretty location that gives the photo a grunge look.

Then we took individual portraits.

Finally we took missionairy shots for Kiel in my studio.  He leaves this week to the MTC, and is going to San Francisco on his mission. I wish you luck Kiel!

I am looking for people to be in themed portraits.  This is for my personal portfolio. These will not be my typical portraits.

For instance… you might become a creature.

I’ve had this fun concept in my mind for over a year now. I am finally going to make it happen. I need people of all genders, ages, ethnicity’s, and sizes. I will choose someone depending on the look I am specifically going for. Not everyone who submits for this will be selected. Do not be offended.  I have a specific vision in mind.

There will be a photographer (me), a make-up artist (Jasmine), and a graphic artist (Nick) involved in this project. By doing this project you will be releasing your right to the images for us to do as we please, including selling them. What you will get in return is a really cool picture.

To submit: (Send the following information by email only.  info@bnbphoto.com)

Name:

Age:

Height:

Clothing sizes:

Phone number:

Photo: (I need a current full body photo of you.)

I love to watch how families change over time.  Morgan and Franky were married over a year ago. Now they have a baby! Instant family. It is things like this that make me smile.

Here is a portriat of the new family…

and here is a portrait of their entire family.

Mack park makes a great location for photographs. It is even lovely for weddings. Thank you Tyffani and Brad for letting me take portraits on your wedding day!

Baby Addison

15Sep08

Here is another great example of a bride of mine having a baby. Baby Addison is an adorable newborn baby. I am happy that I get to photograph her more than once this year too!

Congrats to your new addition to the family Jessi and Paul!

What can I say that isn’t in the title? Well a lot.

I can start with the fact that Shad has been one of my husband and my closest friends. He was even the best man at our wedding. His late wife Rachel was even my maid of honor.   Their daughter was my flower girl.

I cried a lot at this wedding.

It started when I saw Shad’s daughter Chloe crying during the ceremony. She was soooo happy her dad was marrying Steph. I am soooo happy she is happy.

Then I cried when I talked to the late Rachel’s parents. They told me how happy they were for Shad and Chloe. They were happy Steph was in their family.

I swear everyone was making me cry.

Congrats Stephanie, Shad, Chloe and Zoe!  I love you all!!!

Baby Ty

09Sep08

Ty’s mother Melissa is a long time family friend to me. So much in fact that I held her as a baby when she came out of the hospital. When babies you held start having babies you feel old.

Thanks for making me feel old.

Baby Ty started this life in the NICU. Luckily it was for something they were not too worried about. I wanted to cry after I went and saw him and had to scrub in to hold him.  So little to be connected to so many wires.

I am glad you are doing good Ty!

I love shooting at Bear Lake. There is something about the subdued colors of the beach and sky that makes it a perfect backdrop.

Thank you for having me take pictures of your family Kirsten. I hope you had fun at Pickleville Playhouse for the Chuckwagon Show.

I met Karli when I did her senior portraits. It was cute how she wanted me to take her wedding portraits as well.  Thank you Karli!

Karli and Robby’s wedding was a lot of fun. It is the best way to describe it. Karli was in a sorority and Robby was in a fraternity. Most of the fraternity and sorority were there.  They also both have a lot of friends. They were all there too.

FUN.

Thank you for letting me be part of your day!

Kelli is one of my brides… now she is a mom!  It is so fun to see families start. I often run into customers in grocery stores and it always surprises me if they have a baby with them. I love taking pictures of them.

It was fun seeing you again Kelli!
